Welcome to Geometry!!
Welcome to Big Ideas Math Geometry. From start to finish, this program was designed with you, the learner, in mind. As you work through the chapters in your Geometry course, you will be encouraged to think and to make conjectures while you persevere through challenging problems and exercises. You will make errors—and that is ok! Learning and understanding occur when you make errors and push through mental roadblocks to comprehend and solve new and challenging problems.
In this program, you will also be required to explain your thinking and your analysis of diverse problems and exercises. Being actively involved in learning will help you develop mathematical reasoning and use it to solve math problems and work through other everyday challenges.

HomeworkYou will be assigned homework almost every night. The homework is designed to give you a chance to practice concepts developed in class. Do not panic if you cannot do every problem. Use your resources and try your best.
Each homework assignment will consist of 10 pts: 5 pts for showing your work and then 5 pts for your online score: 5 pts for 80%+, 4 pts for 70%+, 3 pts for 60%, 2 pts for 50%, 1 pt for 40%. Then after you have had a chance to ask questions and make corrections, you will take a Homework Quiz (once a week) where you will be allowed to use your homework to help answer questions. All homework assignments must be completed in order to retake any tests. Remind App Linkhttps://www.remind.com/join/ahauc
